About MoRAT 2026
The summer school, organized by 7 doctoral students from EPFL and ETH Zurich, aims to deepen the link between renowned researchers and postgraduate students, giving the students the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art mathematical and probabilistic tools for solving linear algebra problems. A diverse arrangement of domain experts give lectures on the foundations of randomized numerical linear algebra (RNLA) and recent developments in the field. Besides that, we will provide the students with ample opportunities to engage with the other attendees and lecturers of the summer school as well as potential future employers at an industry event for companies and organizations with stakes in RNLA.
